Body Acceptance

If you want to start living for today, in the body you have today, I am here to support you.

You may be in a body that doesn’t work as well as it used to, or your appearance may have changed due to an illness or accident. Like many others, you may have spent over half a lifetime wanting to lose weight and look different, but now you no longer want to waste time on what feels like a fruitless and often miserable venture. You can empower yourself with SFH whilst being sensitive and acknowledging the fact that our society has a bias towards a certain look or way of looking.

Body acceptance is about reaching a place where you no longer put your life on hold until you look a certain way, where you make the most of the life you live in the body you are in now.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy works to put you into a positive mindset so that you feel good about yourself. The psychotherapy element helps you to address your goals and identify the things you can do in this body now. The hypnotherapy element imbeds the work we do in the first part of the session and leaves you feeling motivated, positive and ready to face what lies ahead.

How many sessions will I need?

We can discuss this in the intro call or the first session. The number of sessions you need will vary. Everybody is different.

An average of 8-12 sessions will be required for stress-related problems and anxiety.

Specific phobias such as a fear of flying or spiders will usually require about 4 sessions.
