Menopause

Luckily, we are much more aware of how perimenopause, menopause, and being post-menopausal can affect us. We no longer have to suffer in silence. Brain fog, mood swings, hot flushes, fatigue, achy joints, loss of libido, vaginal atrophy, and thinning hair are some of the symptoms we may still have to deal with. Hormone Replacement Therapy is available for many people, but not everyone can take it. Getting the physical symptoms in check is a step toward feeling better, but the mental effects of the transition to this different stage of life can take an emotional and mental toll.

Recognising why you feel a particular way and being aware of the things you can do to make a difference, can greatly empower you throughout menopause. Visualisation and relaxation techniques are effective for managing hot flushes. By learning about our ‘stress bucket’ and how to reduce and manage our daily stress burden, our sleep, mood, and general well-being can all significantly improve. The sessions can make you feel more energetic and help you get your mojo back, allowing you to feel you are regaining some control.

How many sessions will I need?

We can discuss this in the intro call or the first session. The number of sessions you need will vary. Everybody is different.

An average of 8-12 sessions will be required for stress-related problems and anxiety.

Specific phobias such as a fear of flying or spiders will usually require about 4 sessions.
